Late Ovulation

Okay, I have an ovulation question. My fiancé and I were ttc over the summer and had no luck, now we've stopped and are waiting until spring because we're getting married in the summer (and I don't want to be 9 months pregnant on our wedding day lol) Anyways, I've been tracking my ovulation since eve's estimation is way off and I ovulate at the same time every month, which is about 5-7 days before my period. I'm now worried that because my ovulation is so late in my cycle, that's why we haven't been able to conceive. Could this be a possibility? I have a doctors appointment next week so I'm going to ask but I'm wondering if anyone else has a very late ovulation each cycle and was still able to conceive easily? Please help!
