Doula/midwife question!

A❤

I recently switched to a midwife/midwives that work with a hospital I will birth at. Of course they support my goal of a natural birth, and also I will have a tub for labor/birth in. They said they will be there for me the whole time I'm in the hospital to cope with the pain and breathing techniques. I plan on taking lamaze classes. But is it still worth it to get a doula? I would love one, but I'm not too excited to pay the $900-1000 for one, on top of the already large hospital and doctor bills we have to pay for. Can anyone say they felt they had adequate natural birth support from their midwife without having a doula? Or anyone feel very glad they hired a doula as well? Tia!
