My OB offered the whooping cough vaccine today during my appointment. Just wondering if anyone else got it. I’m 31w6d.

I get the Tdap - Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis - every 10 years or so.

Got the t-dap with my first a year ago and will do so again in a month for this baby. My husband almost died as a baby from whopping cough.

PLEASE get it. It’s safe, whooping cough is deadly. I made everyone who would be around baby in first six weeks get it too.

I'm not pregnant (I don't think), but I am curious for the future...I had whooping cough my freshman year of high school (2013), would I even need the whooping cough vaccine? Since I've had it before?

I can't since I'm allergic. Otherwise I would have.
