What is going on??

I have the iPhone 6S and the iPad mini 2. They updated when the new update came out and ever since things have been off. I’ll just be sitting down and listening/ watching something on YouTube and Siri will come on or the video will randomly pause. I can just slightly move and it will happen. The other day I was walking and tried to listen to music on YouTube while I did, my battery was on 50% and after 2 minutes I moved the video out of the way and my battery was on 10%. There’s been some other things going on and it’s really irritating. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

The battery life thing is normal after an update, even though you might think the update is done it's still doing stuff in the background to 'finalize' the update.
The Siri/pause thing is probably just a glitch and should be fixed in the one of the upcoming patch updates. Just make sure your not accidentally holding the home button or button on your headphones if you have one. I do that accidentally sometimes without realizing it. Especially since the 7+ button isn't an actual button.
For future though I wouldn't update (the bigger updates especially, like iOS 10 to iOS 11) until the fix updates come out (even with iOS 11.1) and wait to see if the errors are fixed because there are some that get missed or they will quickly fix the bigger issues, get those fixes out and then do the smaller ones.
