My husband and I️ work at the same job. Yesterday, our boss pulled him into his office and told my husband that he couldn’t afford to keep my husband.

My husband LOVES his job. It’s the first job he’s had that he hasn’t actually mind working. I️ feel so terrible and I️ just don’t know how to help him.

Last night while were we laying in bed, he woke me up to ask if I’d mind that he go play video games in the living room, because he just couldn’t sleep. It hurts so bad knowing he’s hurting and can’t sleep at night because of it.

He does have another job lined up. A friend of my boss owns his own company doing the same thing as well and is willing to hire my husband and offer the same benefits. We just have heard it’s much more difficult working for this guy than the boss he has now.

I’m just looking for ideas on how to cheer him up. I️ know he’s not feeling valued and it’s hurting him. I️ just want a way to help and I’m not so good with words. I’ve just been listening and giving him back rubs or scratching his head.....just trying to comfort him, really.
