*put this in adult relationships because...mother-daughter relationships last into adulthood right?* My mum told me she wanted to take me to China and told me I wasn't allowed to go without her. We started saving up extra money in a pot. When she needed money, she spent the money from the pot, and as of yet has not replaced it. I told her my boyfriend said he wanted to take me on holiday somewhere next year -not to China-, but I've had no conformation, and she knows this. Tonight she told me she's taking her new boyfriend to China next year, combined with a cruise for 16 days. Her excuse was that my boyfriend was taking me somewhere. Not only that, but she is also expecting me to look after her dogs despite me being away at university. Am I right to be offended that she's done this?
