question about miscarriage

have any of you experienced the following: being told that there was no heartbeat, then when you went back for for another ultrasound (before a d&c;) and the doctor told you there was now a heartbeat? I've read stories online but wanted to know if this had happened to anyone of you on the app. My doctor said she was sure but initially asked me to go back in two weeks to check me again (i was 9 wks when i went Monday) so i asked why do that if she was so sure..... let's just schedule the D&C; and work on moving past this terrible experience. thank you in advance!
