A museum to learn about different cultures, I’ve always loved learning about different cultures.

Well art is my passion, so I would 100% open an art museum. But the focus would be on female artists/illustrators, and I would make it a very feminine, warm space with seating, big windows, and flowers all around. So many art galleries feel almost sterile, but I would want mine to feel accessible and welcoming and colorful, with a touch of whimsy. I would include a library of art books written by women, as well. I might also include a children’s section featuring children’s illustrators and a separate, smaller library of kid’s books. This space would probably have its own entrance, but could also be accessed from the women’s gallery and it would all flow together. I work at a Library currently, and I LOVE seeing all of the illustrations in picture books, there is seriously some beautiful work. 😍 It’s not typically the type of stuff you would see in a gallery, but it inspires ME, and I would love to see that sort of art featured somewhere. If you can’t tell, I have thought about this.
