Cheating and stds

Currently she is sharing stories from girls who have been left with stds from their cheating partners. Example:

This is so important! Cheating is bad enough but even if you think your partner is faithful they might not be. So many girls don't realise. If you have any inkling he is being unfaithful get checked out or use condoms. In long term relationships with birth control we all tend to ditch condoms but if he cheats then we are screwed!

Has anyone else had this happen to them?
