Diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) in Sept of 2013, my husband and I were told it would be very difficult to conceive. We tried for a year following my diagnosis then started Clomid. After two rounds we took a short break then started looking into other more invasive medical options. In doing so we found there were states that required some insurance companies to cover assessment and diagnosis of infertility but living in GA at the time they didnt. We ended up movig to AR eight months later in May 2016. AR is one of those states with coverage. We started on Metformin with my new OB/GYN and we were encouraged. After six months no luck i began to doubt this dream would ever come true for us. I doubted what God could do knowing full well he could and would work miracles. I didnt know then but this was just as much a faith fight as it was a physical one. In June of this year I renewed my faith in God and his will. My husband and i began to work on our foundation for starting a journey of IVF; or so we thought. After our lab work the RE suggested IUI first, which was mostly covered by our insurance. We should have know then this was Gods handy work. He said all of our numbers looked great and ovulation just seemed to be the problem. October we did the procedure and just found out today that God so graciously blessed my womb! We are beyond full and humbled by our blessing. Many women have great numbers and still no pregnancy, so we know this is his divine will and we are elated.
