NIPT and amnio or just NIPT?

I’m 40 and this is my 3rd baby. I’m 12 weeks and will have the harmony test on Monday to find out my risk of genetic disorders followed by blood work and NT later in the week. My question to other 40+ mums is if you got a low risk with the NIPT and NT scan would you still go on to have the amnio to get an absolute definitive answer?🤔🙄

Harmony comes back with a yes or no answer.  So..no abnormalities dectected I wouldn't investigate further

Hi and thanks for your reply. The MaterniT21 is the same as harmony though. They are both NIPT and not diagnostic so there is still a chance of trisomy problems (though extremely low, ie less than 1% I believe) and also the NIPT only test for trisomy genetic disorders. The amnio is invasive and takes cells from the baby from the amniotic fluid surrounding it and then grows them in a lab to give you a definitive answer in relation to a much wider range of genetic problems... In saying that though my OB also said you would have to be bloody unlucky to get a false positive with harmony... 🤷🏻‍♀️. Amnio now has a 0.06% chance of miscarriage so is also super low risk. I think I will just wait til I see my combined results from harmony, bloods and NT scan and go with my gut.  I was just curious to see if anyone was choosing to do both?
