Feeding every 2 hours

Ho

I'm sure this is pretty common but...my son is 7 weeks old. He was born 3 weeks early, at 5lbs 12oz. He is up literally every 2 hours on the dot to feed. There are times when he would like to eat even earlier than that, which I assume is because he has acid reflux and spits up a lot, but he is already over 10 pounds so he's by no means starving. So he eats for 15-20 minutes (probably around 3oz according to the lactation specialist I saw), has to be burped which is very difficult, and then has to be sat up for a half hour to let him digest, which gives me very, very little time to try and get back to sleep (on top of the fact that he's an extremely loud sleeper and makes it nearly impossible for me to sleep anyway). Is there any way to stretch these feeds out, or will he start to do it on his own soon? He is getting very chubby and my husband and I are getting very snappy with each other because there is minimal sleep happening. I'm a FTM and my baby is mostly breastfed. I'm just worried because my mom fed me every two hours for NINE MONTHS and I will lose my sanity if that happens. I am already uncomfortable with how much weight he has gained, but if I try to hold him off at all, with a pacifier or walking or anything, he has a complete meltdown. Help!
