I’m starting a new job - should I reschedule my appointment?

I’m starting a new job in my 13th week of pregnancy, with my OBGYN appointment coming up on 13+4 weeks. I would have to leave work about an hour early which I have not discussed yet being that I’ll talk with them tomorrow (Monday). Should I try to reschedule the appointment for my 12th week (this coming week) or should I leave my appointment alone and just leave early on that day?

NOT a good way to start a job on the first day. It's a red flag when you're needing a special accommodation the first day of work,  especially since you're not giving them notice. Most jobs have a procedure to request early leave and it needs to be approved in advance.

Did you disclose your pregnancy during the interview? NOT that you have to by any means! I'm just saying .. if they knew they'd have to understand that you have urgent matters outside of work. If they do know .. let them know about scheduled appointments AS you make them.. just shoot an email over. And have a follow up convo to confirm your absence in person. If they don't know .. it might be a great opportunity to talk to Jen about your exciting news. If you can reschedule .. I think it's a good idea too. Do they maybe have a late night that there open so you cam go after work?
