It could be your waters and the white/clear pieces could be the membranes that have come away.   Call Midwife/hospital would be my advice.  
Pop a pad on to monitor loss.  If any green discharge or blood on pad keep for assessment also.  
Keep an eye on any tightenings.

So I ended up going to the hospital that night because I was having contractions every 3-4 mins. I asked them about the discharge and they did say it was just discharge, by the way. BUT, anyways, I was 4cm dilated, 80% effaced, and at this point I’m overdue so they told me to go walk around the hospital for an hour so I can dilate a little more. I walked around for an hour, got checked again, and I was 4.5cm, still having contractions of course, but they sent me home because I wasn’t at a 5. I was so bummed.. I’ve been spending all of today having these weird contractions.. but the pain of the contractions havent increased or anything. Don’t get me wrong, they’re definitely uncomfortable and painful, but compared to what I was feeling when I actually went to the hospital, hasnt changed/gotten more intense.. so it looks like I’m definitely not having her naturally, and I’ll be getting induced tomorrow at 5am which is what I wanted to avoid 😣

I’m pretty aware this isnt my water breaking, but is this normal? It was a lot! I’m 40 weeks + 2 days. I just don’t want it to be an infection or something.
