Flu Shot and Booster with Infant who has a double ear infection.

We are pro vaccination so this isn’t a post to endorse the anti vaccine movement. Our one year old got her 1 year shots and the flu shot when she turned one. Well our weather changed and she started daycare and came down with a double ear infection. It went away and now it’s back. They told us if she has another one or this one doesn’t get better she will need tubes put in. Well she is in a lot of pain and weak. But she was scheduled to get the flu booster on Tuesday. Has anyone skipped or put off the booster with their child? Any negative effects of delaying the booster until she finishes her antibiotics and gets rid of this ear infection? Any advice about it would be great! Has anyone researched it because they were in a similar situation and what did they find? Again this isn’t an anti vaccine post and I will delete or report those comments because I’m looking for information for my very sick child and do not have the time to argue about those.
