false positive?

okay so I took a test before going to work because I've been really nauseous, having breast pains, and have this really weird taste in my mouth but when I took the test it was negative but hours later after I got home from work there was a faint line. am I pregnant or was it a false positive???

I know everyone says to ignore it and it’s an evap or invalid but this happened to me the first time I got pregnant. I threw away the test because I thought it was negative and then the next day I decided to look at it because my period still hadn’t come. I then saw a very very faint line. So I then retested and it was positive. So just retest to make sure and just because it’s past the time does not mean it’s not a positive as my story proves.
