when did u go in?

my contractions are 5-7 minutes apart I thought my doctor said to go in when there are five minutes apart but not positive? when did you all go in???

My doctor says 4-1-1. Four minutes apart, lasting a minute each, for an hour

To go along with what the other lady said, my doctor also said if you are smiling and can laugh during them then don’t go in.

Mine never got consistent with my middle child (he’s the only one I’ve gone into labor with and not been induced). They went from 6-10 mins apart to 1-2 minutes apart! That’s when we rushed to the hospital for delivery. But they were never the consistent 5 mins apart that doctors ask for.

I went in with my first as my water was slowly leaking and they go to check and accidentally break the water. With my second I timed the contractions when they were coming every 3-5 min and lasting a min that’s when I went in but I was at 2-3cm dilated when they were able to check me.
