I’m visiting my inlaws so I’m staying in their house, but I have told my mother in law that’s I’m not giving my daughter any candy or meat, nothing sweet or with dairy. However, we went out to eat and she tried giving my daughter a gum ball. When I turned around, she had put it on her lips, but as soon as she was about to open her mouth to suck on it, I quickly put my finger on her lips and told her that She’s not eating candy. She told me that it’s just so she can try it, but I told her that its still sugar that’s why. Was I being rude? Should I tell her again what I’m not giving the baby to eat?
