Trying food!!?

When are you going to let your little one TRY food? I’m not talking about eating it but just a taste? Anyone going to let them try thanksgiving mashed potatoes?! My son will be a week shy of 4 months and thinking about it

I'm thinking Christmas time. Like sweet potato casserole or something soft he can have a tiny taste of. He will be a week shy of 4 months on Christmas so I'm not going to do it any sooner than that.

Nothing till at least Christmas (she'll be 4.5m then) and probably not even then. I think I'll wait till she is older enough to show interest  in food before giving her any. I'm in no rush to give something she doesn't need yet. Just makes stinkier diapers before needes lol.

My son BJ will be 4 months and I think I might give him a taste of sweet potato casserole. He is already showing interest in food. He tries to grab whatever we put in our mouths. He would stare, babbles  and bam in his mouth. He's teething too, giving him a little bit fir Thanksgiving.

We've already touched her tongue with a cut strawberry and a cut banana, but she hasn't gotten to try to chew or swallow anything yet. We'll probably start tasting and getting textures around Christmas, since she'll be 4 months shortly before

I let him lick a cookie the other day.. Well he just had his tongue sticking out a lil bit so I just did a quick touch of the cookie to it lol. he just looked at me like "da fuq you just do??"
