Random period, ovulation...help!!

Hi ladies! Wondering if this has happened to anyone before. Usually regular 40 day cycle. Last period was Oct 14-20. Period is always 7 days. Not due for AF til Nov 23rd. But Mon-Wed had bleeding. Not spotting but not heavy. Only wore a pad for precaution but didn't need it. 3 days and light is not normal for me. I should have been ovulating this week so I'm bummed. I also know for a fact it can't be implantation. Long story why I know lol but I know it's not. Grasping at straws but wondering if I could still be ovulating and we should be BDing or if I'm out of luck. Also should I count this as a period and change things on Glow or see if my normal period shows? I do ironically have a doctor's appointment this Saturday. It just feels so far away lol
