When did you see your second line?

My husband have been TTC since February. In the beginning we weren’t trying as hard more so just if it happens, it happens! Now we have been really tracking my ovulation. My period is 3 days late. I took a test on the first day of my missed period and today. Both were negative. With my first child I received a positive test the day of my missed period. Anyone have to wait a while until they received a positive result? Trying to stay positive and hope this is our month!!!
