Could this be a sign ?

Just a little background , My husband and I️ have been ttc for a while now. I️ have pcos, I’ve had it since I️ was about 13-15 years old. But until recently Ive been taking metformin 500mg twice a day ( I️ took I️t throughout whole month of October) and I️ haven’t gotten my period yet. It’s actually about 4 days late and now my 5month puppy has decide to take a nap on my stomach. Could this be a sign? Should I️ test ? Ugh this is hard :( I️ don’t want to get my hopes up and get crushed :(
