nexplanon side effects

OK so I got the nexplanon implant because I didn't want to be stressed with taking the pill every day and possibly missing a day and all that. So I heard about the nexplanon implant and got it last year in October. Once I had it in it was non stop bleeding and I gained weight like crazy. I went to go to the doctor to take it out in January of this year and the doctor couldn't find it in my arm. They x-rayed my arm and it was literally in so deep they told me I needed surgery to remove it. In February of this year I got it removed. Since then my period has normalized and I've stayed off any kind of BC. But now me and my fiance have been trying to have another baby since June and it seems like we can't. Im only 21 and we've been having sex on all my peak days so far. I just don't know what to do anymore. I track things. I make sure not to eat something I'm supposed to. I don't drink or smoke. Have any of you had a side effect from nexplanon that affected your fertility after you got it taken out?
