Nipple Piercings After Baby??

I'm due next month and I've been thinking of getting nipple piercings for my 21st birthday (end of February) as gift to myself . I'm sure I can't get it done so soon , but do any of you moms have nipple piercings if you do did you get them before or after having your baby ? If you got them after how long did you wait postpartum to get them done ?? Any advice or opinions???

If you’re planning to breastfeed id wait until after your done that as you’re not supposed to play with them/suck on them until they’re healed which takes 6 months-a year and you really wont want anything latched to your nipples until then anyway 😅

if you are gonna breastfeed, wait until you've finished as it can give you infections and irritate the baby. and thrush on your nipples is very common, and with a fresh wound, I'd recommend not to
