I saw some debate on here earlier that got me wandering this question. 
Would you rather send an innocent person to life in prison or let a murderer go free?
Let’s just say you know without a shadow of a doubt that the one person is innocent and the other person is a murderer.

If an innocent person is going to jail, wouldn’t that mean the murderer is free anyways? Or am I missing something

Murderers go free every day, there’s already plenty of them out there, one extra honestly doesn’t make me that much more worried. But one innocent person having their life taken from them isn’t okay and I couldn’t look past that.

Oh my gosh, I can't even answer that question! They're both so awful! A murderer might murder again but an innocent person in jail is also a loss of life in a way.

A murder go free. Incarceration in the American prison system borders on cruel and unusual even for the guilty.

I would let the murder free, because I can always retry him for the same crime or give a lesser charge of the crime.
