Herpes

I kissed someone a couple times that said he was clean when asked and I don't remember him having any what looked like outbreaks, but maybe a week or two later I got a pimple just below my lip,pretty painful and kind of blends in with the skin. Now still there then a couple days ago I got red itchy dry under eyes that are painful, felt like there's something in my eye sometimes. I've been sick for a while so maybe that's it but does this sound like herpes any reason this could be happening ?
