Possible to Lose 20 pounds in 10 Weeks?

So I debated on whether to even post this. I gained a bunch of weight after having my son almost 3 years ago. about 45 to 50 pounds to be exact. It's embarrassing, but even more so, it's unhealthy. I want to set a good example for my son, and be active and healthy. Today, I'm weighing in at 246. My overall goal is about 150. We currently live in Pennsylvania, and my husband is planning a trip to Arizona for us .to visit family in about 10 weeks. I want to be able to participate in all the different activities without having to consistently sit down or feel out of breath. I also just want to be able to enjoy the family time without feeling self conscious or uncomfortable. My goal is to Lose about 20 pounds before we make the trip, is that an attainable goal? Is it realistic? I plan on eating cleaner, cutting out some of my bad carbs, And cutting out soda and swapping for water. Exercise wise, I'm striving for at least 5 days a week of a mix of cardio and light weights (building my way up to more), for at least 30 mins a day. Any additional advice is ALWAYS welcome! . UPDATE: I've been trying to stay consistent and make better choices with my food, and get in some weights and cardio. So far, I've lost 7 pounds. I know it's not a lot, but I'm pretty happy with even that little bit of progress. So I'm now down to 239. Just thought Id give a little update!
