Single mommy, pregnant & dating

So I've just recently started dating after being cheated on by my ex of 5 years. I have a 3 year old son & am 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd son. I already feel guilty dating as it is. But I found a guy who treats me so good. Not rushing anything of course. But he told me he is a recovered drug addict.... what would be your thoughts on this? I live with my parents at the moment & my dad has given me so much shit for this & I don't know what to do. I really like this guy.
