Sciatica???

I’ve been having sciatic nerve problems since the beginning of my pregnancy and they’re only getting worse (now 15+4) 
I’m in agony all day because my job involves sitting/standing in one place at a till for hours, then when I walk away my whole leg just gives up but it’s mainly in my back, it’s so painful!
I feel silly getting signed off work with it but I might have to, will the doctor agree with me???

I had that towards the end of my first pregnancy. Now I’m pregnant with #2, 10 weeks 4 days, and it started the other day. My job I’m on my feet for 9 hours and any little movements make me feel like my leg is going to give out. Then when I’m home and seated it hurts so bad to move. My dr recommends a pregnancy belt, or something supportive to help distribute the weight. I tried a chiropractor. I had to stop working at 8 months it was so bad the first time.

I had this really bad too (also pretty much from the beginning of my pregnancy). It got so bad that I was having trouble standing up straight and walking. I got my doctor to put me out of work (at 22 weeks), I felt useless for being put out so early but I'm now 28 weeks and it's so much better without the extra strain on my back! Do what feels right to you, good luck! ❤

Try sitting on a yoga ball. I found that helped.

I had it so bad but it only lasted about 2 weeks. 
when I didn't have to work I just stayed home and relaxed not moving at all. 
and I slept for like 2 days straight and it was better. 
if it hadn't gone away I would have called my doctor!

I had that toward the end of my first pregnancy. It got worse during labor and after I gave birth. The pain didn’t go away for over a year. I took Motrin and did physical therapy
