If you got NIPT done, did you also get a 12 week ultrasound?

Just curious if it’s still ordered and necessary since NIPT tests for DS. I didnt know if there’s another reason to get it.

Yes because they check other things as well like baby's development, your cervix etc

I’m doing the NIPT and my doc already set up my next appointment for 13 weeks.

No I’d already paid $400 for NIPT wasn’t gonna pay another $180 for basically the same thing. I knew my baby was healthy and growing right. I’m almost 21 weeks now and everything is perfect.
