Nuva Ring?

Question

I need to get back on birth control and heard about the ring. Has anyone had good luck? How big is it? Anyone have a picture of it? I dont want the pill cause I work odd hours and can't remember to take it.

I had the ring. It was easy. I didn’t feel it. I had to stop using it though because my ex was allergic to it. He kept getting this unexplained rash. When he got a rash on his face after eating me out we got really worried. We were both clean. His doctor was the one who figured out it was from my nuvaring. I read up on it and there are quite a few other men allergic to it too. I, personally, had no affects and found it great. I just wanted to share that in case something similar happens between you and your SO.

I just started it in early November after being on the depo shot and I haven’t had any issues. 
I did have a little trouble taking it out, but thats because my nails are overgrown and I was scared I was going to scratch myself.

When I first started the NuvaRing I was on the regular 21 days in 7 days out schedule. It affected my appetite (less hungry and picky eater whenever I was hungry), very fatigued/always tired, definitely very moody/snappy/irritable, sore breasts (varies from mild to moderate but has never really gone away). A week after starting my 3rd NuvaRing I had a follow up appointment with my midwife to tell her how I'd been doing with the NuvaRing since I'd never been on it before. I told her all of the above mentioned information, and she changed my schedule from 21 days in 7 days out to 24 days in 4 days out. I started my new schedule with my 4th NuvaRing on the 16th of this month, and everything is already much better!  I wish I'd started out on the 24 days in 4 days out schedule to begin with! Lol
