Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and a half now, he was living with me because his dad moved. His dad made him go down to where hes living, and basically forced him to go (hes 17 so his dad still technically has legal authority over him). And he’ll be gone for a long while. He doesnt have any way of texting or calling, and I was debating asking if we could just take a break while hes gone, since it’s not like we can even talk at all anyways. The only way Im able to get a hold of him now is by calling his dad. Do you think taking a break until he comes back is a good idea? Im worried about just giving him the ‘green light’ to be able to see other girls.
