I went without a period for 5 months. I got put on Metformin and started to bleed again. I have now been bleeding for about 5-6 weeks. I bled for about 3-4 weeks, had a week with no bleeding, and then started bleeding again now for about a week or 2. It goes from heavy/medium, to pretty light bleeding. I have not been taking the Metformin for about a month or a little less bow because it makes me shit so much that u was getting the the way of my job. I've tried to switch to the softer kind, but our pharmacy doesn't carry it. I would have to drive 30-45 minutes for a prescription. But is this bleeding concerning? Should I call my doctor?
