WIC nurse has me worried
I saw the WIC nurse for my intake earlier this week and now I'm worried. I started the pregnancy at 268lbs and I quickly lost 10 lbs in the early first trimester due to morning sickness. I've gained some of it back and now I've plateaued at 262/263 and I'm not gaining any more. My doctor mentioned it at my last appointment but said he wasn't worried because I started so overweight. But the WIC nurse said I should gain 11-20 lbs during the pregnancy and even gave me a pamphlet on how to gain weight during pregnancy. My baby girl was measuring about 6 days behind at my anatomy scan and I'm worried she's not growing like she should because I'm not gaining weight. My very defined B belly doesn't seem to be rounding out and in general, my belly doesn't seem to be getting bigger. Should I be worried? Should I try to eat more even though I don't have much of an appetite? I see my doctor on Wednesday and I'll definitely ask him too. Just wanted some advice from mommas who have been there before.
