Vaping whilst pregnant?

Are there any ladies on here... at any stage of their pregnancy that are vaping or using some sort of nicotine substitute? 
Before I found out I was pregnant I was a very heavy smoker, and now I vape on a low mg nicotine, I find it’s the only thing that keeps me away from cigarettes, is there anyone else doing this?

I did through my pregnancy and my baby is totally healthy. But that doesn’t mean that the next Mom who does it will have a healthy baby. Everybody is different.

You would still be putting nicotine in your body. You don’t want anything like that when you are pregnant. A baby whose mother smoked in the first trimester of pregnancy is more likely to have a heart defect at birth. They are also more likely to die from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and be born premature. Talk to your doctor but I would not risk it at all.

I feel like you’re gonna get so many negative comments on this post and I’m so sorry. There’s so many women that will be very judgmental about the subject without realize how hard it is to just quit cold turkey, especially if you were a heavy smoker before becoming pregnant. As long as you’re vaping with no nicotine I feel like you’re doing nothing wrong. You’re not smoking anything in a paper/wrap so you’re not getting the harsh chemicals and that’s why many people who did smoke cigarettes turn to vaping. As long as there’s no nicotine you’re just inhaling flavored vapor.

It definitely can't be good for the baby because of the nicotine, I've heard stories about people who smoke and such while pregnant and the baby being born and having yo go through withdrawals BUUT if you smoked quite a bit before it would be better to vape because it has less dangerous chemicals in it and you can get low milligrams of nicotine but it would definitely be best to slowly stop altogether because of the nicotine.

I vaped for a year before my pregnancy plus 6 weeks in. 
Yeah I felt terrible doing that but I felt like I was just going to lose another baby so I didn’t want to even try giving it up and having my hopes up again for nothing. 
Baby is completely healthy and I’m 12 weeks + 1 day

most obgyns will ask you to ween off rather than stop smoking cold turkey. your baby goes through what you go through including withdrawals and stress. both of which happen when you stop cold turkey. i came up with a plan with my obgyn to stop at a pace that wouldnt stress me out and it wouldnt cause bad withdrawals. do not let anyone tell you what you need to do other than your doctor. it isnt anyone’s business other than you and your doctors. most non smokers do not understand that while some womans babies are fine after stopping cold turkey other woman have miscarriages. and that its an actual addiction that you need to stop with the advisement of the doctor while pregnant. vapong is how i stopped, i was able to
monitor and control how much and how little nicotine i consumed and was constantly able to lower it until i was at zero anf then didnt really need the vape anymore. talk to your doctor. they are there to help you through things like this.

I was a heavy smoker and then a heavy vaper, but as soon as I found out I was pregnant I took the nic out of my juice. I haven't hit my vape in a few days though because of morning sickness 😂😂

i vaped at a low level. 6-10mg od nicotine i think. I quit less than a week after i found out i was pregnant. I wanted the best for my girl, and had a guilt trip every time i puffed on it
