Do they do drug testing with newborns in Illinois? I'm just a little paranoid about having weed in my system... I don't smoke regularly or much. I just smoke whenever I'm in a lot of pain to take the edge off. Because honestly, I'm more comfortable with the thought of weed in my system than pills with extra shit that have been reported harmful to babies. I don't smoke a lot or religiously....but is this still enough to worry? I don't want my baby taken away because she's my whole world. She is measuring perfect and always has excellent checkups. I would never do anything that would hurt her directly or didn't think it was in our best interest. I haven't read anything that has given me a straightforward answer. Please no bashing or negativity, I just want to know if anyone has ran into a problem personally by smoking just a little bit. Again I'm from Illinois, so I don't know if laws differ.
