I️ went to the mall yesterday. I️ was wearing maternity gray khakis and a T-shirt and a pair of boots. Not dressed like a bum in the least but also comfortable. I️ wasn’t wearing makeup but my hair was styled. (14 weeks pregnant with my second🤰🏼) and I’m shopping for clothes I️ can wear to my work that will fit my profession (I’m a paralegal) and also accommodate my growing belly and be warm because I️ commute to te city. So we go into this store and my SO is shopping and I️ see this pretty poncho and the sales woman comes up to me and goes oh you wouldn’t like that you look like more the woman whose laid back and doesn’t care about her appearance. My SO just made a face like wow and looked away so I’m like I’m pregnant and she goes oh. Then proceeds to try and sell me $200-300 ponchos and capes and other such things that I️ admit were cute but seriously!? Also she was still trying to convince me that I️ wasn’t sophisticated enough for te initial poncho. 😠 I’ll just go buy that awesome poncho somewhere else. No way you’re getting my $$$. 😤
