Hi guys, I know there might be a topic somewhere about this but I figured I do my own so I don’t have to skim through...

My daughter is 14 months & she’s still on the boob. I’m trying my best to make her stop so she’s able to have nice teeth w out no cavities. Her dentist did recommend it being that breastmilk has sugar & she eats throughout the night. That’s basically the only time she nurses is at night or for a nap. & of course, I do brush her teeth every morning & night but she HATES IT. She gives me & my hubby the hardest time evvverrr, we feel bad for making her scream but that’s the only way we could actually get her mouth to open wide to see her teeth. I’ve tried giving her a sippy cup w whole milk in it but she doesn’t take it as much. I’m not sure what else to do 😩 she’s been drinking only breastmilk since she was born, so I’m sure it’ll be a lot tougher to get her off of it. I did google this but I would rather hear past experiences that worked from other mamas out there or just some encouragement!!

Pls lmk what I should & shouldn’t do so I could try it on my daughter to see what could help us. I am a first time mama also. Thanks!
