I’m a girl that passes as straight (not that I think that means anything...). I never have people make assumptions about my sexuality. I’ve been in the hospital for the past few days. My girlfriend has been with me, every second. This morning, on of the cleaning ladies came in, and when she finally noticed my girl in the room with me, she stopped cleaning for a moment. She stared at us. It made me so uncomfortable. Thankfully, it wasn’t a doctor or nurse (who could make changes in my care...). I just hated that feeling.
