Well, younger teens. Okay before I start and my little sister and family gets judged hardcore, my sister was born extremely premature and is mentally behind because of it. Like, she does well in school and is at the same level as her peers, but maturity wise,

Her maturity level is probably closer to 11/12 rather than 14. But I still don't get this.

Apparently, it's cool to have sex. Everyone's talking about it and doing it. When I was in middle school kids were already having sex and getting pregnant/doing drugs at 13. I am 7 years older than her so I can just imagine how much worse little bad ass middle schoolers have gotten.

I cant believe what she told her friends though. Honestly it's embarrassing to my family. And just?????????? What?????

She told her friends that she had sex with our brother. He is a year older than her. It got to their parents, which came back to my mom who was DISTURBED.

She confronted my sister, who ended up crying and said she made it up, told them that so that they would think she was cool. Because again apparently having sex is cool. Then my brother was called into the room and she had to apologize to him because this of course, got around. And it humiliated him because everyone thought he was having sex with his sister. He is actually hurt by this like "why? Why would you say that?" Is the first thing that came out of his mouth. He knew about the rumor but not that she had started it.

So now, my sister has started a horrible rumor about herself and our brother in school that she will probably never live down because she said it herself with her own mouth. just because she wanted to seem cool. You think telling people you had sex with your BROTHER would be cool? They all think you're gross now like??? Even those corrupted little kids will think that's disgusting. I mean, I didn't say that to her but I was thinking it. I don't even know what to say to her. Other than just look at her confused like "??"

My mom called all of those parents and explained what happened. Some of them were close to calling CPS understandably.

This is honestly very disturbing to me.m

My mom had a looooooooong talk with her by the way. About lying and making things up, how lies can cause massive issues and how they can affect other people. She talked to her about sex too and peer pressure.

Edit: we KNOW this is not normal. Of course it isn't, I said it was disturbing. She is seeing a counselor. But you have to take into consideration that her brain isn't as developed as everyone else her age so she probably didn't think it through and just wanted to seem like the cool kid.
