My son will be 9 months on the 25th . Clearly he doesn't know right from wrong . He was playin With the light on our room and I've been trying to teach him yes and no . So he's wiggling the lamp pole and I'm looking at him and telling him no . Every time I say it he stops and looks and me the lamp falls over and the light blows . It didn't break it just won't cut on . So I pick the lamp up and he continues to look out the window then he wiggles the lamp again and I tell him no and I go up to him and I flick his arm lightly , he just looks at me I do this about three times cause in between I wait and when he tried again I did it again. Eventually his dad gets up and hits his hand 3 times as if he were 10 years old . He hit him so hard on his hand and my son started screaming . It literally made me want to cry . I'm actually crying while I type this because it hurt me to see that . Anyways , I snatched my son up and I told him don't ever put your hands on him like that again . I dontcare if you hit me cause I can hit back ( he doesn't hit me ) but you will not hit him like that ever again . My son cried for 10 minutes and his hand was red . I really don't know what to do because my fiancé doesn't even know how hard he hit him . But I'm scared of how much harder he'll hit him as he grows . I grew up in an abusive house and I will be damned if I let my son grow up being hit like I was . What do I do .....
