Take magnesium citrate. It’s over the counter and safe for pregnancy, and works like a charm! It’s about $2 from a pharmacy and is a drink. It will relieve your constipation. I used it twice in my second trimester and finally learned my lesson and increased my fiber intake so I didn’t have to deal with that again. You can also take a daily stool softener for maintenance. But stool softener won’t work for current constipation issues, just avoiding it in the future. Good luck mama!
