Before ovulation temps will be lower. After ovulation they will rise at least. 4°. Not every woman gets a dip before ovulation.

So far ive learned that they will drop before you ovulate. Mine dropped to 97.4 for 3 days and yesterday it started going back up. It will spike when you ovulate. I just started doimg BBT but i also take ovulation tests from the dollar store once I get into mt fertile week. Today I got an LH surge but it wasnt quite positive. Tomorrow it'll be positive which means I'll release an egg 12-36 hours after my positive test.
