Coffee??

Question

I've never not had a cup of coffee in the morning, and I wanna know your opinion on drinking it while pregnant? Should I not at all? Moderation? What's everyone else doing ?

I used to be a 5-cups-a-day kind of girl (seriously). I cut it down to under 250mg/day for a while, and then...THE SICK. Now at 9 weeks, I can’t have much as a sip without feeling like I’m gonna toss my cookies. So, morning sickness might save(?) the day for you.

My ob told me a cup or two a day is totally okay :) I drank like four venti iced coffees a day before I got pregnant. At first it was really hard to cut back. But then I found that coffee and lattes were making my morning sickness worse so that made it easier to cut back xD

It's perfectly fine to drink a cup a  day! If your worried about it still being too much, do what I'm doing and get 1/2 Caffeine coffee.

It’s fine to have a little bit if you really need it, but do not treat your exhaustion and tiredness with caffeine. I try to stay away from it during my 1st trimester.

most obs will tell u the same thing - 250 mg. of coffee ( two cups) a day is fine during pregnancy.  I had my morning cup and my Starbucks Frappuccino,  every single day of my 41 weeks pregnancy.  our daughter is 1 year old and she was and is very healthy and happy

I think it’s fine! I had 2 cups every morning of either coffee or tea with both pregnancies.
