Packing Hospital Bag - Underwear??

So I’ve been slowly getting together a hospital bag for me and baby. Online there are recommendations to buy some cheap but comfy underwear. Any suggestions on what or where to buy underwear for postpartum recovery and not break the bank?

I bought a value pack of granny-panties form WalMart and used them.  I didn’t care if they got ruined that way, and they were just as comfy to me, as the mesh undies the hospital provided. But they WILL give you extras if you ask for them. 
The one thing I highly recommend outside of the undies is to buy the Dermoplast spray. That stuff was amaze-balls. I tore (sorry, tmi for some) with my first and it was seriously the best thing ever during recovery.

honestly... depends are the best thing. I had to call the nurse multiple times to change my bed because I leaked through their pads and mesh panties. I had my mom bring me depends for the car ride home and that's all I wore for the next few days. we jokes that when I packed the diaper bag I had to have diapers for myself and the baby. this pregnancy I plan to just bring my depends to the hospital.

Omg! Seriously, don't bother with underwear! Buy depends instead! Someone suggested it with my first pregnancy and I couldn't have been more comfortable. You don't have to mess with pads in your underwear and have them shifting around or staining anything. It makes life soooooo much easier! I lived in them!

I’d think Walmart but would be the equivalent, but I just bought a super cheap pack of granny undies (grundies) from Kmart (AUS) 3 pairs for $2.50, it was an emergency csection, and all my other undies sat right on my incision, so these were perfect.

They give you these weird undies to help keep the giant pads in place. I wore those for a while then switched to my "period panties" once the bleeding slowed down and I started using regular pads

i just used the mesh undies from the hospital. you can ask them for extras too to take home

I wore the mesh panties the first day then had my own underwear. I didn’t go out and buy new underwear I just used older ones or my “period panties” I never ruined them because you have the pad on.
