We exclusively breastfed until 12 months and then started our daughter on puréed vegetables and a little bit of fruit. She is now 16 months and very healthy. Every child is different so speaking with your doctor will help as well as trying to understand your child. A lot of babies will give you hits when they are ready like being fussy after milk only feedings.
