when have you started to buy stuff and set up the everything for the baby

hi there im curently 25 weeks and want to know when is a good time to start getting ready for the baby. i have only bought a few iteams of clothing other then that i havent started i feel like im slacking compared to some of you.😊

My mother in law keeps telling us not to buy ANYTHING until after our shower lol. So all we have is some clothes and his crib bedding. We only bought the crib bedding because it was discontinued and I didn't want to lose out on it. I am dying to buy stuff, but doing what she asks. lol

I am 23weeks 6days. The room is painted and we have purchased the crib, dresser and bassinet and set it up. I already purchased the bedding set and our stroller as well. We are slowly buying items off our registry since no one ever gets you anything off the registry anyway for the shower. And since we are having another girl I’m going through our storage to get all my baby clothes and blankets out and washed. Luckily I kept everything from my first daughter. :)

I didn’t want to rely on a baby shower as I think personally it’s rude to expect a present & to request things. If someone wants to buy something then brilliant 😊 x

If you’re having a shower don’t buy anything on your registry until after the shower but you can buy anything not on your registry that you want or think you might need. Or if you find a good deal on something on your registry and want to get it you can always remove that item from your registry. We just got a ton of stuff through Black Friday sales and have all the big expensive stuff taken care of (crib, bassinet, monitor, high chair and travel system). If you’re not having a shower i would just buy a little bit with each paycheck till you have everything

I'm starting tomorrow at 24+3. with my first baby I started at 11 weeks and found myself sitting around the last 5 weeks with nothing to do just waiting. so this time I waited so that I'm not bored and anxious.

We’ve purchased a crib, dresser, glider/ottoman, and double stroller. We have a 22-month old, and don’t foresee having a shower so trying to buy things here and there.

I’m 25 weeks and I have my nursery already set up.  I only need a baby carrier for body wear, and some small stuff like bottles, bath stuff, etc...
Otherwise I’m set.  I didn’t want to feel rushed so I got it all done.  Now when I’m later on in my pregnancy, my biggest worry will be what pajamas for me and onesies for my little girl I want to pack in my Hospital bag.  Lol!

all clothes are washed and put up,carseat just needs to be installed. I started gathering things when I found out the gender at 17 weeks. thankfully were having another boy so I had stuff left over from my other son. I'll be 25 weeks Friday
