28 YO BOYFRIEND WITH 3 KIDS AT 19

EDIT: The reason he is not with the mother of his children is because she started doing drugs and he did not want to be around that or have the kids around that. They still see their mother once a week now. He is very good to me and works for a pharmaceutical company

POST: I’m 19 years old (will be 20 in a couple months) and my boyfriend is 28 with 3 kids of his own. We’ve been seeing each other for a little while and I keep getting asked the same question “why would you want to be with someone that much older with 3 kids when you can start a family of your own” granted I was in a 5 year relationship and was engaged for a year prior to this relationship. I definitely do not act my age and have always attracted older men. I come from a broken home and have step brothers and sisters myself. I have also had 2 miscarriages. So I see his 3 children as a blessing to me. I love children and treat them as my own. But am I taking the situation too lightly? I’m VERY happy with him and he takes care of me.
