I am currently staying at my grans house until I can afford my own. I have a 5 week old baby and two cats male neutered indoor cats, recently my mum had to my mum had to move into the house also. Only problem is she has a Staffordshire terroir who is really hyper, hates cats and gets overly jealous if anyone is paying attention to the baby. Because of this I’ve had to keep my cats in the one room so the dog doesn’t attack them and my mum doesn’t seem to be trying to find a house of her own. They’re really hyper and aggressive now and have tried jumping into the baby’s Moses basket numerous times, started biting me or biting my feet when I walk by them. They also swipe the claw out if you walk by too. They’ve scratched the baby’s pram and completely destroyed my bed. I’m at my wits end, I dunno whether to rehome them or not as it’s unfair that they’re being locked up and plus I worry about my baby’s safety. Suggestions !?
