Do You believe in second chances ???

Me and this guy was off and on for a really long time ago but recently started talking and he says that he still feels the same towards me but I don’t know if I do. The reason for our problems is because he says he wasn’t ready for commitment. Could he be telling the truth or what because it sounds like to me he is not?

You know what... I did give a guy a second and third chance because he said he wasn’t ready every time I tried and talked to him he’d never respond. I really don’t think it’s a good idea to give second chances, mostly because I feel like those times that I have him chances and waited I could have met someone really great but 7 months later he’s with a new girl and has been for about 6 months. And I’m still living my life alone. Your best bet would be to not give him a second chance. If he really liked/loved you they wouldn’t have left. And who knows you could meet someone really great! Girl honestly I’ve been through this I have chance after chance trust after trust but he’s lying he may truly care but he’s not in it for the long run it’d be different if you knew he would stay and he didn’t have this continuing pattern but save your heart and mind from the pain you’ll go through after he leaves again I wish I made this choice sometimes people want what they can’t or don’t have and once they have it they take it for granted

If he’s saying he’s not ready for commitment then he’s probably being honest lol. Usually that means he doesn’t want to be tied down and wants to do his own thing. If that’s the case let him go and do him. No point in giving someone a second chance that doesn’t want a relationship in the first place. Plus I wouldn’t be able to trust him after hearing that. 🤷🏻‍♀️
